Introduction

I was diagnosed with manic-depression (more commonly known as bipolar disorder), when I was 17. That was 20 years. The original diagnosis was major depression with psychotic episodes. It was only within the last couple of years that I was diagnosed with manic-depression. Manic-depression to me seems to to be more descriptive than bipolar. Bipolar could be a variety for things. The meaning of manic-depression is more obvious.

What I hope to do with this blog is tell my story, find and post links to help others with this diagnosis that are suffering with it themselves or that want to help a friend of family member.

I hope to make some friends with this blog, and above all help others understand what manic-depression and help others cope with it.
